HOURS OF OPERATION:
Every day from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM & 4:00 to 7:00 PM all offices. After-hours arrivals
and returns must be confirmed by the Puerto Vallarta office. Vehicle will be held for 2
hrs after confirmed Pick Up Time.
Pick up at the airport is provided according to flight information provided with the
reservation.
RULES:
Purchase of TDW insurance (see Insurance below) is MANDATORY.
Purchase of CDW insurance is MANDATORY.
Purchase of PAI (personal accident insurance )is not mandatory, and not offered by the PV
Agency.
BASIC RENTAL RATE is guaranteed with
confirmation of reservation.
Cost of gas, taxes and insurance coverage are not included in the basic rate.
You have Unlimited Mileage within the are of Banderas Bay, a 60 mile range from the
airport.
If the renter plans to leave the city, the office must be advised, at time of rental.
INSURANCE
TDW: Third party Damage Waiver. Covers the property of third parties up to
$10,000.00 USD per occurrence. With a deductible of $300.00 to $1,000.00 USD, depending on
the type of car. Cost of the TDW Insurance is $8.00 USD per day
CDW: Collision Damage Waiver: Covers
damage to the vehicle and includes TPC, Theft Protection Coverage of the rented vehicle.
With a deductible of $600.00 to $2,000.00 USD, depending on the vehicle. Cost of the CDW
insurance is $12.00 USD per day.
CDW is double if there will be a driver
between 21 and 24 years old.
TAXES:
15% IVA (Value Added Tax), applicable to rental rate, insurance, mileage and all extra
charges.
EXTRA CHARGES:
Gas: Vehicle must be returned with a full tank. If not, there will be a refueling charge
30% higher than the cost of the gas station rate per liter.
Terrain: For use of the vehicle on rough terrain such as sand and off-road use.
Vicinity: For leaving the vicinity of Banderas Bay without notifying the office upon
reservation or rental.
PICK UP INFORMATION:
The rental agency will pick you up at the airport using your rental vehical or another
vehicle belonging to the car rental company if you request pick up.
PAYMENT GUARANTEE:
Renter must have a valid credit card to use for the reservation as well as for a guarantee
during the rental period, with a minimum line of credit available of $500.00 USD.
He must also show a valid drivers license in his name.
CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED:
American Express, Master Card and Visa.
CASH:
US Dollars and Canadian Dollars
TRAVELERS CHECKS:
American Express and Visa Travelers Checks in USD only
NO OTHER FORM OF PAYMENT IS
ACCEPTED.
AGE:
Minimum: 21 years old. Proof of age may be required.
Maximum: 70 years old. Proof of age may be required.
CANCELATIONS:
All reservations must be canceled at least 24 hrs before Pick Up Time.
No shows will be charged for a full day.
EQUIPMENT:
No additional equipment is available at this location.
